Wazzup beautiful people?? I know it's been a minute and a half since I last blogged but life happened so I had to take a break from blogging and actually focus on school work and my final exams. I am back now so yeah. Been hoarding these images for a while now waiting for the day I finish writing so I could blog....
I know almost all the time the only things I blog about are fashion, beauty and food but today's post is a little different. It's a little personal or rather more personal. I believe that sharing things you like and wear is also sharing something personal and helps people get to know you more. If I did not believe that I wouldn't keep...
The minute I saw this shirt in my sister's closet I knew I had to have it. The drama that this shirt brings is just one of the things that made me fall in love with it. It's big and bright and stripes have always been a favourite of mine anyway. To be quite honest I summoned all the righteousness in me to...
On Thursday a friend and I made our way to Johhanesburg CBD to go visit the Johannesburg Art Gallery. This was my first time going to the gallery or a gallery for that matter. I've been meaning to do this for the longest time but something always came up. This gallery is huge and spacious. Had a different exhibitions. They had paintings, sculptures,...
Student life is synonymous with broke life, can't-afford-that, ain't-got enough-cash-for-that, I'll-buy-it next-month (well atleast for some us). I have spent most of my varsity years trying to stay withing my allocated allowance (which isn't much). My mother is a single mum and has raised all three of us with the little money she gets every month and I am grateful for that. When...
I wanted to feel sexy and sports luxe at the same time so pairing a tight skirt with these Rubi shoes was the way to go also Currently obsessed with these glasses I have on. My mini fro is out and just for that second I was loving it. After the first few days of marvelling at how much your hair is grown...
I know some of you will agree with me when I say the weekends should be for lunch dates and chilling. Saturdays should be for lunch or brunch dates and Sundays for lazing around and prepping for the coming week. This past weekend I did exactly that. On Saturday I went out for lunch with friends. We went to our favourite spot in...
Just a few things that have been inspiring me lately easthetic wise. I am obsessed with dusty pink at the moment so naturally my first mood board is entirely pink. Rihanna and Solange are my fashion spirit animals if there is ever such a thing. Ofcourse picture are not mine* Thanks for reading ...
Avon launched their range of matte lipsticks quite a while ago. I definitely jumped on these new products because my love for lipsticks is intense especially those with a matte finish. I am not really into make up because of the acne which is why I am so liberal with lipstick. It's just about the only make up bit I can use. The...
On a chilly Tuesday evening we went out to Parkhurst to celebrate one of my friend's birthday, I had seen a few Instagram pictures of the CRAFT restaurant and I really wanted to check it out. Quite a number of us have actually been eyeing this spot and were very excited to go. We got there and the place was buzzing, It was...
This was not particularly a coffee run. On our way to what we thought was going to be a fun shoot in Randburg we got free coffee at the #freeyourself stand in Sandton. I got a delicious chai latte. I know nothing about this campaign and I did not even realise it was a Telkom campaign until this little kid pointed it out. Anyway the shoot did not happen that day. We did a lot of running around and at the end of the day I was so grateful that I wore something comfortable even though by the end of the day my white jeans had horrendous stains on them.
p.s we eventually did the shoot and I am excited about the end result so keep your eyes peeled on the blog and our social media for when the look posts go up :)
